The Booksy Annex coming in November

We are thrilled to announce the opening of additional space, right next to Booksy, right where we started, this November. Our working title for the additional space is “The Booksy Annex: Records, Writing, and Royals” (referring to typewriters that is, not Meghan and Harry).

The Annex is a work in progress - I know, not the greatest timing during the busiest season of the year - but we will be building up a space dedicated for our Records / LPs (new and used) and Record Players - Refurbished Typewriters - and all other things analogue, such as Stationary, Paper, Journals, Cards, Pens and Pencils (including our favorite Blackwing Pencils), and whatever else we deem necessary to help foster creativity, art, communication, and community.

Most exciting, we will have dedicated Event Space at the Annex. In the planning stages are, of course, Book Clubs and Author Events, but also writing workshops, book-art classes, and type-in / letter writing afternoons (you can sit at a manual typewriter and author an actual letter). We won’t neglect the younger patrons and are planning toddler-times and crafts for the new year. We have so many ideas we can’t fit them on this page so stay tuned!
